the Sanctuary

of the Philippines. Upon arrival at the island it is good for
you to visit the Apo Island Protected Landscape/Seascape Office.
Before you enter, entrance fee is required.
You can try snorkeling and diving at the marine sanctuary. For
diving, no additional fee is required, as its being paid for already
by the dive centers. Pay to the cashier on the kiosk, you should
only pay to her and an Official Receipt will be issued to you
instantly.
The
entrance fees that you paid will be used for the salary of twenty
local persons that patrol the ocean to prevent illegal activities,
such as fishing and destructions on the sanctuaries. The Marine

The
walk up into the lighthouse is another way to spend some time,
the way going up there is not easy, if you want to go up to the
top of the island and see the light house it is better for you
to wear jeans or something else that will protect you from scratches.
There
are some people there living on the top of the mountain, they
come down to the village rarely, living a simple life there, but
just thinking about living with a beautiful view like that makes
it all worth it being there.
The
view from the top is overwhelming, as you can see the beauty of
the sea, and the feeling is great and incomparable.
