Resorts in Apo Island

  • Apo Island Beach Resort

They say that this particular beach resort is the most beautiful in the island. This was formerly known as the Kan-Upe Cove Resort. It is situated in a cove, with two big rocks on each side of the resort. A beautiful beachfront property with coral sand and lovely sunset. Great service even if the they have limited personnel. Most of them are multitasking, security guard by night, water boy by day.

The rooms are mostly newly built, all facing the sea to have a better view on it, big and highly ventilated bedrooms with many windows to eliminate having an aircon. The supply of electricity there is only twelve hours, started from six o'clock in the evening to six o'clock in the morning on the next day.

This resort has a good restaurant, offers many variety of options but mostly fish as it always fresh. This is the only resort with its own beach, that you can snorkle or read book on their inviting comfortable lounge chair. The style of the rooms is beautiful, all are designed to face the beach. There are no persons selling at the Apo Island, for they are prohibited on the resort. Only the guests of the resort are allowed to use its facilities.

  • Liberty's Lodge

Liberty's Lodge is a unique place in a beautiful location. It has a very charming and fantastic view. Good design, good materials. The price of accomodations there depends on the season. The Lodge has been crafted into the rock, it is well suited with the surrounding nature. The rooms there are rustic simple and all have balconies facing the sea and setting of sun.

The management of Liberty's employ many smart techniques to overcome the difficulties and problems of living on a small, remote tropical island.

A refreshing and highly effective shower system is used. Naturally ventilated rooms enhance the sea breeze. Ventilators aid the flow of air on days when the weather is calm. When it rains precious water is collected in cisterns. The supply of electric power is on for ten hours daily.
